Let's discover the world of Reptiles.

Did you know?

Reptiles are cold-blooded.

They are known as Vertebrates because they have backbones.

Reptiles lay eggs.

Reptiles have scales.

Pythons and Boas' are the only reptiles to give birth to live young.

They cannot warm themselves up and will lay in the sun to warm up and sweat to cool down but during winter are known to hibernate to avoid the cold weather.

They breathe through their lungs.

There are many different species of Reptiles.

The most common known Reptiles are:

Crocodiles/Aligators

Lizards

Snakes

Turtles
